Beyond a change in our personal habits, what can we possibly do to help contribute to the reduction of a spread of the Coronavirus?
For all of those who pray, here is a prayer for God’s grace and protection that came to mind.
May we who are merely inconvenienced,
pray for God’s grace and protection for those whose lives are at stake.
May we who have no risk factors,
pray for God’s grace and protection for those who are most vulnerable.
May those who have the luxury of working from home,
pray for God’s grace and protection for those who are not able to work.
May those who have the flexibility to care for children when schools close,
pray for God’s grace and protection for those who have no options.
May those who are suffering savings and investment losses,
pray for God’s grace and protection for those who have no margin at all.
May those who settle in for quarantine at home,
pray for God’s grace and protection for those with no home or safe place.
May those who are not in a position to care for others,
pray that God lovingly embraces all of His creation.
