My experience with Horn law is coming to an end. I did not want to wait until after everything was done to try to do a post however everything is just about wrapped up and I couldn’t be more pleased with the atmosphere that I can feel when I have been there both in person or over the phone I had some people trying to provide ideas of other attorneys and Horn. Law Firm was actually close to me. I read some reviews and I liked them so I thought I would give Horn Law a chance to represent me. I am very happy that I did not choose one that would send me to many different places and then try to take a bigger cut. Horn law was very efficient and getting my case done I felt they were very reasonable on their fees and above all everyone that I dealt with from the receptionist all the way up was very pleasant and didn’t leave me with worries or anything else. I don’t know that I can thank just one person. So I just want to praise the entire Law Firm

In January 2024 I slipped and fell at work due to a contractor placing a slippery liquid on our breakroom floor to try and clean it up. However, they did not bother to place any signage or warn anyone and as I walked in to heat my lunch slipped. I broke my wrist and finger, and spent several weeks in a splint. The contractor never showed any concern, so I decided to sue for injuries caused by the negligence. This was a tough case, as I am a Federal employee working in a government facility, and the contractor was a third party. It was difficult even finding a physical therapy location because the workers comp was government. Horn Law took the case, and got me a settlement I am more than pleased with. It was not easy for them either, as they had to deal with the government workers comp folks wanting a share of the settlement too. Nina Perry was great to work with, along with everybody else. I highly recommend Horn Law if you need any legal advice or action!!!

1. Report your accident to the appropriate authorities ASAP. Ensure Authorities are contacted and document the scene. Get medical treatment for any injuries you have sustained, don’t “shake it off.” Some injuries, like traumatic brain injuries or internal injuries, can have delayed symptoms. The sooner you can receive medical attention, the better for your health and your case.
2. Collect as much information as possible. You or someone you trust should attempt to get information from any involved parties. Important information can be the names of all parties involved and any eyewitnesses. If you were in a car crash, get the other driver’s insurance information too.
3. Take photographs. Photograph the scene, your injuries, the causing factors of the accident, and anything you think may be relevant. If you were injured on someone’s property due to a dangerous condition, take photos of the dangerous condition.
4. Get copies of all relevant documents. This can include police reports, incident reports, medical documents, and communications with insurance companies.
